Accelerating FemTech: Evaluate is a 10-week programme that supports UK companies with technologies for women’s health that are already developed but are looking to prove their value. Funded by Innovate UK Biomedical Catalyst and run by the Health Innovation Network South London with national partners, it offers tailored support, expert workshops and one-to-one business coaching. The goal is to help companies grow, connect with the right people and plan testing of solutions in real healthcare settings, including cost-effectiveness. It’s all about supporting companies to make a real impact in women’s health.
We will aim to support up to 10 companies developing innovations for women's health through the programme. These innovations should have the potential to address current challenges in women's health and other conditions that effect women differently or disproportionally. These innovations will be targeting business to business (B2B) or business to consumer (B2C) women’s health markets.
We are looking for companies that meet the following criteria:
Enterprise that is registered with UK Companies House or will be by the start of the programme
Micro, Small and Medium enterprise (SME) - definition can be found Here
Innovation for women’s health with a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 4 or above. Find out more: Technology readiness levels (TRL) – UKRI
Those participants who complete the programme in full will be eligible to apply for a closed call funding opportunity from Innovate UK Biomedical Catalyst in Spring 2026 with a focus on real world evaluation including budget impact assessment.
To apply, please sign up for an application portal account on this page and complete every section of the online application form. The form includes questions about your company, the women's health challenge you're looking to address and information regarding your FemTech product. You will be able to save your application at any point and return to it until the deadline.
Applications will be assessed according to business credibility, potential for impact in women's health and the extent to which we believe the programme will make a positive impact on your business.
The deadline for applications is 23:59 on Sunday 28th September 2025. If you are successful in the online application stage, you will be invited for a virtual interview in the week of 20 October 2025.
